Amelia joined Woodfords in October 2019. She specialises in all aspects of family and children law, with particular expertise in financial remedy proceedings. She also has a background in product liability litigation, group action lawsuits and both international and criminal law.
Amelia has experience of successfully obtaining injunctions on behalf of domestic violence victims, supporting vulnerable spouses and the examination and testing of complex financial disclosure in both contested Schedule 1 applications under the Children Act 1989 and within financial settlements to divorce.
Amelia welcomes all new enquiries to the family department and is available to offer compassionate and practical advice on an array of difficult family and children issues.
She also sits on the board of Evolve, an international legal charity assisting the Ugandan criminal justice system in addressing disparities in capital punishment sentencing.
