Amelia is a family solicitor with Woodfords specialising in all areas of family and children law, but with a special focus on financial remedy proceedings. Before coming to Woodfords, Amelia worked at Moss Fallon Solicitors with a focus on high-net worth clients.
Amelia has experience in advising on pre and post nuptial agreements, obtaining injunctive relief for clients in abusive or violent relationships, TOLATA claims, financial claims for unmarried couples on behalf of children, negotiating child contact arrangements or variations to final Order, achieving clean break financial Orders and advising clients on all aspects of financial remedy proceedings from First Appointments to Final Hearings. Amelia puts a strong emphasis on personal service and bespoke strategic and cost-effective solutions for every client. Amelia has wide experience of supporting vulnerable clients and those with international aspects to their cases and welcomes all family enquiries from the community.
Before training and specialising in family law, Amelia worked in international group claims of personal injury against pharmaceutical companies and defendant criminal law in the UK and abroad. Amelia has worked and supported legal charities and currently sits on the board of Evolve FILA (the Foundation for International Legal Assistance).
