Roger trained at Mischcon de Reya and then spent 8 years at Slaughter & May working on a broad range of commercial matters before joining Woodfords in 2003.
Roger is the senior partner of Woodfords and his role is to ensure that the firm’s strategy is implemented and is the ultimate point of resolution for the implementation of our client’s objectives.
Rajan joined Woodfords in 1997 and has been the Managing Partner since 2003. He is responsible for the day-to-day management oversight for the firm.
Rajan is also the Partner who heads our Private Client Department and is experienced in all financial aspects of matrimonial finance to include divorce and separation and in particular resolving complex cases comprising of business and trust assets.
Richard joined Woodfords in 2004 was appointed Partner in 2010. Richard now heads our property department and has responsibility for both contentious and transactional commercial property work carried out by the firm.
Shelley has been with Woodfords for more than 23 years, and is now our Conveyancing Manager with responsibility for all aspects of the Residential Property process.
Alistair is the head of the dispute resolution department of the firm and is experienced in handling a range of disputes for both companies and private individuals. He joined Woodfords in 2007, having previously worked in the property department of a "magic circle" city firm, and became a partner in 2014. He has acted for clients in more than 400 disputes, including cases in the High Court, County Court, Employment Tribunal and First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). Alistair is also an accredited mediator, and accepts instructions to act as mediator on a wide range of disputes (for more information, see mediation).
Claire began her legal career with Herbert Smith (Herbert Smith Freehills) before spending 14 years as an associate Solicitor at DAC Beachcroft where she was responsible for leading high-value commercial litigation in the High Court and test cases in the Court Of Appeal.
Claire is a partner at Woodfords and advises clients on litigation and dispute resolution.

Madeleine worked at Bird & Bird and Herbert Smith Freehills before joining Woodfords. Madeleine advises on a wide range of commercial property work and with a variety of clients, predominantly commercial landlords and tenants. She focuses on landlord and tenant portfolio management work; particularly retail commercial property and corporate occupiers; acquisitions and disposals of freehold/leasehold commercial property subject to leases for investment purposes; and transactional issues associated with the occupation of leasehold property.

Jane is a solicitor in our private client department and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She deals with a wide range of private client matters but predominantly probate, estate administration, family trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
After training with a leading Chancery Lane Practice Jane worked for Ashurst in the city as a Private Practice Solicitor before joining Woodfords in 2014.
Holly graduated from university top of the class and with a first-class honours degree. Thereafter, she completed her (GDL and) LPC Course with Distinction, and spent one year working at a Law Centre before joining Woodfords in October 2013.
Holly works with Alistair in the Litigation department, and also advises clients in relation to many areas of family law. This includes family finances for both married and unmarried clients and matters relating to children.
Holly is a member of Resolution.
An Immigration solicitor of nearly 15 years’ experience. Tharwat joined Woodfords in 2013 and become a partner in 2018. She established the Immigration department at Woodfords and does some family work.
She deals with Corporate and Private Immigration.
Tharwat deals with high net worth individuals from the Middle East, China and Russia. She is a fluent Arabic speaker and her extensive experience has enabled her to provide her clients with a bespoke advice in accordance with their individual needs.

James graduated from The University of Southampton for the first class law degree before passing his Legal Practice Course with a distinction.
James is currently working with Marina in our property department.
Kealy graduated in Law before acquiring a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law. Kealy then secured a position with Barlow Robbins in Guildford before joining us in Fulham.
Kealy practices in both our Commercial Property and Private Client Departments.
Iveta originates from Latvia and was educated in England and is fluent in Russian and Latvian. She completed the legal practice course in 2013.
Iveta has worked in the Fulham and Chelsea legal property sector since 2009 and now assists Richard Hemingway in transactional matters to include commercial and development property.
Jeremy is in the process of qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and is currently assisting Alistair Wells in our litigation department and Tharwat Alsanawi.
Before qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales, Marina graduated in law from the University of Paris II Pantheon-Assas in France. She also holds postgraduate degrees in law from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and from the University of Aberdeen. She practised as a French Lawyer (Avocat) in Paris for a number of years before moving to London in 2011.
Marina now specialises in residential property in London and has experience in dealing with all aspects of Residential property to include freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions and the collective purchasing of a freehold (enfranchisement).
Jay left Westminster School with four grade A’s before completing his law degree at the University of York. Jay is currently training to become a solicitor and assisting Roger Wilkinson with commercial and commercial property work.

Robin graduated from the University of Birmingham before completing his law degree at the College of Law in London. Prior to joining Woodfords, he worked in house across various financial institutions both in the U.S. and here in London.
Robin works with Alistair in our litigation department, and advises clients in relation to many areas of commercial and employment law.

Simon Petrou – Practice Accountant
Simon graduated from the University of Birmingham before embarking on an accountancy career.
Simon has been our practice accountant since April 2012. In his free time he enjoys standing on the terraces of his beloved AFC Wimbledon.
Sheila qualified as a solicitor in 1976 before setting up her own practise (Mackworth Rowland) based in Kensington & Chelsea and Fulham. She is an experienced private client solicitor specialising in estate administration, wills and inheritance tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyships with the Court of Protection and also has considerable expertise in residential property matters.
