Jeremy Liu
Jeremy is a Graduate Trainee Legal Executive with extensive experience acting on personal and business immigration applications on behalf of individual and commercial clients. He has been working in the immigration field since 2014, and joined Woodfords in 2015.
Jeremy works across the entire immigration spectrum, including partner and child dependant applications, asylum, EU settlement, British citizenship and Tier 1, 2 and 4 applications under the points based system.
In addition, Jeremy also has a working knowledge in civil litigation and employment matters, and is currently in the process of qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Recent work highlights
- Acting for a Tier 1 investor following a refusal on their application and securing their leave to remain after engaging the administrative review process
- Successfully acting for an applicant in obtaining her indefinite leave to remain and a grant of British citizenship
- Representing two applicants in their reconsideration requests to the Home Office to obtain their British citizenship following their refusal on the grounds of good character
- Defending an appellant in her appeal on the basis of her Article 8 rights in the UK, despite previous unsuccessful appeals
